Methuselah and Larry's Lookout

This scene was acquired around 09:55 LTST on Spirit sol 454 (April 13, 2005) as part of imaging sequence P2402 using Pancam filters at 753nm, 535nm, and 432nm. This mosaic shows a region of the Columbia Hills slighty lower in elevation than Spirit's vantage point, and features two very interesting outcrops with Clark Hill in the background. The outcrop on the right is Larry's Lookout, and on the left is a newly discovered outcrop that the team is calling Methuselah. Two versions are provided at full resolution: an approximate true color rendering, and a false color stretch to bring out the subtle color differences in the scene.
